Our part time administrator succumbed to pressure from the village council majority (Almost certainly Pam Hansen & Michael Seltzer) and published a politically charged fairytale meant to “correct the record” of issues pointed out by a group Responsible Franklin, but instead perfectly helped highlight the extreme level of incompetence in our village government.

What was the point of this?
It is an election cycle so those up for re-election want to counter criticism by misinforming and/or misleading residents so they might get elected. If I were part of an incompetent Village Council tried to illegally double taxes to cover for reckless spending, I’d also want to hide this from voters.
What was the result?
Basically they proved all the points being made by Responsible Franklin
Responsible Franklin did not even account for all items, leaving out:
- $$$ Lawyer’s Fees
- $48,400 in landscaping at 26197 Meadow Drive
- $$$ “voter education” PR and materials to mislead residents
